My brother sprays cars for a living, he is going to do it matt British army green, i have also been told to use some bracken and use as a stencil for camo, spray with black around the leaf.
I have been out in it tonight in FWD only, not one moment did it look like it was going to get stuck. Managed to bag 11 rabbits and a pigeon. l love my new vehicle, my BMW 3 series would not have done it!!!
I have not had the windscreen down yet, on Sunday AM I will take her top down ( ' ) ( ' ) and go for a slow drive round the >2000 acres I have access to.
Excuse my ignorance what is wrong with the shackle lift? All I need is to be high enough to clear standing crops which at the moment the wheat is not tall enough to touch the sump.
Cheers
Buck

Shackles move the caster angle on the front axle, throwing your steering geometry out. They may give a lift for a while, but soon start to bend the springs the other way, causing above problems to become worse and will eventually break your springs.
There where a set of add a leafs on hear for £40. thats half price of new. They are cheap, simple to fit and effective. The only slight downside is that they will firm up the ride slightly, but for what your doing this wont be a problem.

You also lose your approach angle... if you drive up a bank, they shackles will stick into the ground
