I dont want to fit Landrover arches I want the standard samurai arches replacing on mine. There metal and look neater.

Fitting Landrover arches would be easier though I imagine.

Don't laugh but how do you tell if my Suzuki sj410 is a Samurai or Santana

What does it say on the v5?

You can't get a 410 samurai only 1.3

Santanas and samurais are different models to 410 and 413

It only says sj410 VJL. As I haven't got all the log book back yet.

If it was a samurai or santana it would say it on the bodywork or interior somewhere i think

It's a 410 then if thats what it says, it's not a samurai. it is a santana if it's spanish built, if not it's just a 410.

what side are the indicators on? right=jap left =spanish ? square (spanish) or round (jap) stalks?

2 reverse lights and a seperate fog light (jap) on the back or one fog and one reverse within the clusters (spanish)

Chassis number starts JSE= Jap Vse= Spanish.

Chassis starts JSA. It's only so I know what body parts to order then I start to rebuild my little baby.

Just my 2p... you can always tell if it's a samurai by looking at the chassis at the front.

In this pic you can see where the bumper (the bit with the hole in it) goes into the chassis leg
You can see that the shackle mount is off to the side of the chassis leg. This is how they widened the 413 to make it a samurai



So, in a Samurai the shackle mount is off to the side of the chassis legs, and in a 413/410 the shackles are directly underneath the chassis legs
