Wiring spot lights, on button and high beam?

But i'm not sure that would stop the relay energising when i slowly release the stalk from flash position.

I still think you want to move the switch to the negative side of the circuit. Yes you won't have the warning light unless full beam is on but then do you really need the warning light?

When do you want the light to energize? While ever the button is depressed? It won't work like that because one of the legs of the circuit (ie your stalk) changes the state when it operates,

it now works so when the button is in and high beam is on the light will come on, this has solved the relay kicking in when the button is off as well. Dash is back together and i can now move onto other things on list! Thanks for all the help
