You got me there Sir! Everyone tells a different story - all they consistently say is that you are "allowed 20% more" no one says whether that is HP or capacity.
I thought the Swift GTi was 1600cc??? More than happy to be proved wrong. Would just need to marry a vehicle electrician

Hey Geoff
Hows it going? Unfortunately this is a 97 Maruti and they only started fitting the 1.3 mpfi in 2000. someone has previously fitted a 1.6 to this one though which is a bit of a shame as it's only done 20000 Kilometres! why would you swap out such a fresh engine unless you were an idiot

Just found this - (below) they were plentiful but at 5 years old the hire company's HAVE to sell em off so all the hunters bought em up. I was a bit slow off the mark and wasn't sure I wanted a LWB now that I fancy one, they have all dissappeared - quite fancy the Mpfi Jimny engine.

No mate. Have contacted the owner and waiting for him to get in touch. What do you think of the price though?

Yeah yeah, having x2 kids is enough to put me off using them - and my legs not bad either! How are you doing? Still enjoying the SJ? I'm suprised you've not bought anything bigger yet!

SJ is a good size for here. OK I would really love a LAND ROVER actually, I would love a Land Cruiser but they just cost too much to run etc etc.
I quite like some of the tiny footpaths that the Sami will go down - must admit hikers (that is normally me too) get a bit of a shock when they are struggling up or down a really narrow and steep rocky track and meet me coming the other way. Oh the freedom!! and it is all legal
As for the "bigger yet" ... well I am thinking about a LWB Maruti as I said that is big enough, but have you guys seen this:- http://www.motorbeam.com/cars/maruti-gy ... y-in-2013/ might be worth looking at if I can raid the wife's piggy bank!
