Crikey 8" with re bars for a shed!!

That's mighty thick I'd say. I'm sure I did mine 4" or 6" for a reasonable sized garage.

I've just found this that might help, and should save you a few £ as well.

My design criteria was to withstand the impact if I accidentally drop an engine in it. :D

I over engineer everything I make. (Especially if I dont know exactly what I'm doing) No chance of failure then.

Will get some photos later if its better weather but its still just a big muddy hole.

Totally finished digging and ripping out some shrubs that were coming under from the other side of the fence.

Then made a start on the shuttering. Everything is leveled off a stake I have hammered into the middle.

Looks good man

I'm knocking down some fur trees at the moment and replacing it with solid wood fench so there is more room for the double garage :) as the fur trees take up loads if room
And also might start digging some foundasions out soon using a 2 tonne digger :middelfangers:

And then the fun comes to mixing concrete :S

Think I might just man up and pay the 200 quid to have readymix delivered.

At least you know your gonna get a good mix by ordering it. Save a lot of time too, 20 seconds, boom, done!
