I think there is a clause in the law that lets you drive up to 7.5t as long as the vehicles pre 1960 & is unladen........ I was tempted by a praga V3S under the premise but didn't in the end, storage was an issue (as was a 35mph top speed!) Any way to get around the weight restriction I looked at GAZ66's but my thought was if your going to go heavy weight you may as well do it properly & everyone knows 6wheels are better than 4!
