as you can probably see in the pics the bumpers have been badly resprayed a unmatching colour, so im thinking of either having a go at spraying them or paying for them to be done professionally, i had a play with photo editing software and came up with this...

ipod lead came today so now i can play music off my ipod or iphone and it controls the ipod/iphone

just need to connect the remote wire for the sub and the fuse holder needs fitting to the power wire but cant do that until my dad comes back from working away as hes got the kit to do it in the boot, cant wait to get it wired in, standard speakers are pretty good so theyll be staying :)

remote locking is the next job....

good job! looks awesome, will prevent your cb from getting stolen this way. did you put a remote mic plug on the handbrake cover, so you can unplug it, and you won't see anything? might be quite handy to do

Is it called double din because it makes twice the noise?

Thanks kiwizook! I'm really happy with it and will be even more happy when my sub is finnished being wired in :D

And it's called a double din cause it take up two slots instead if the normal CD players that take up one slot...

Haha thanks mate, my wheels were £189 for the set if 5, then I had new tyres put on them that was £354, then you need spacers as the calipers get in the way so they were about £75 for 32mm, and they sit perfectly at the edge of the arches, really happy with how they sit, front tyres run on the plastic inner arch at the front but that's not a problem as the plastic moves around so it's not doing any damage...

Double din install was pretty easy too, though the kenwood cage was sharp as I found when fitting it lol!

Would be good to see some pics of another GV 5 door, even better to see another one modified...
