The metal prop thing that holds the bonnet up. Long and thin and clips on the slam panel.

Is it the latch that holds the front screen in place when its not folded flat on the bonnet, the ones that screw to the side of the dash board?

It certainly is, it's the latch for the front screen that mounts on the dash
