no pics yet, but the new shed is practically finished, just need to wire it now so I have lights and hotpoints. primered the underside and bulkhead, and put the first coat of black on, need to do one more coat, and underseal the underside, then I can put it back on the chassis, and paint the rest on the chassis, to save space

Hi!
I'm new to suzukiclubuk forum. This is a great project!
I'm also working on restoring my SJ410k in the last 2 years.
I believe I've encounter the same issues (holes and rust at the same areas).
These pickups are very rare around here. it toke me 2 years to get one.
Since they are so rare, I’ve created a web page to document all k series pickups. you can visit and list yours as well!

I have a build thread in a local forum but it is in Hebrew - You can enjoy the photos or use google translate

Again, Amazing job on this pickup!
Enjoy,
I

painted and undersealed the bottom of the cab, and have started to paint the back of the cab, so I can bolt it back to the chassis to save on space.

humidity is up and down at the moment, so I just have to wait for a day with low enough humidity to spray. on the positive side though, I've got holidays from Christmas day through to 26 January, with a 3 day hike and a week's holiday away planned in there, so hopefully will get a lot done on the wagon!

Just read through this project, must say it has been an interesting read, any progress of how it looks at the moment?

it stands as a rolling chassis, rebuilt engine, transfer case, and drivelines. all painted up, rust in chassis and cab fixed, partly painted and awaiting some body work to the roof. need to finish welding on one front arch, paint the lot, and reassemble it. oh, and also need to sort out the rear brakes and front bumper, so really it's getting there now
