That's the color I want to make mine lol. With lots of black bar work. Getting mine professionally painted by a mate for $200 cash sometime next year hopefully. I probably should get off this damn site and go do some work on my truck.
Looking really good hopefully get to see it in person one day

front axle is being ripped apart as we speak, just can't get two screw out of one of the free wheel hubs, and I am also missing one, and most are damaged because they were so difficult to get out. anyone recognize these fwh's?

they look like all steel inside, and seem to work quite well, but as you can see I have had to slot those screws to get them out, as the allan head was worn out, so I want to replace the screws if possible, but the heads seem to be of a strange taper, and my local hardware store could not find replacements, and they are quite good!

To the best of my knowledge those bolts are specials and blooming expensive.
On fleabay at $4.50 each
The SJ/Samurai should have model number AVM 438 fitted.
The service kit including new bolts is 4438, if you can find anybody selling it.

I'd be tempted to weld the head up and use an angry grinder to grind them back and make them permanently into flat head "screws". Basically what you've already done, but a tad stronger.
Or plug weld a nut to the top of each one to turn them into "normal" bolts? They might be a bit too small for that though.
