Oh hell. People say that all the time at college, because I'm flat at 75. "Why dun ya put NOS on it durr hurr hurr?"

Someone asked my why I had a short throw shift kit on one gear stick and not the other a few weeks ago.
There's three ways of doing things:

The right way,
The wrong way
And my way, which is like the wrong way but faster.

tell them they are stupid,nos gives extra power not more speed unless your not on the rev limit at 75.
you need to up the rev's or change the gearing to go faster but then you may need the extra power to go faster

well i have ordered a bigger intercooler
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWAX:IT" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
should see abit more power with that.
also refitted the bleed valve as it felt gutless without the extra boost.
i knocked the tracking way out last sunday but dont have any adjustment left on the milner track rod ends :pissed: so im going to rose joint them then they should last a few years then 8-)

I know, but some folks are really thick, or just don't think about what they're saying. A popular one back at school was, when people saw folks on mobility scooters/electric wheelchairs they'd almost always say something like "Cor! Imagine that with NOS on it." :er:

I would need more power to go faster, but you wouldn't want to rev it much harder either, so I'd need an extra gear first.
