Well after sticking a drill bit through my first vitara rad in the middle of fitting it, i managed to get hold of another one and fitted that this afternoon. It went in pretty easy and has no leaks but has some corrosion on the top seam and kind of looks like it could burst open at any minute. So i might have to start looking for vit rad number 3 quite soon.

Also got hold of a set of bushwacker arches the other day. Although they wont be going on untill i get wider axles.

Muppet  should stay a bit cooler now at least  nice score on the arches, careful though they are quite easy to break.

One of them is already slightly broke  but should be a easy fix. They are the proper arb ones from lowrange so they should be a bit stronger than the fiberglass copies.

I got them off ebay and by the look of the name and where they were sent from i think they were Sam16v's.

Finally made a start on my samurai axles today. First thing was to move the perches. So made a crappy jig, cut the perches off, moved them over, welded them back on. Job done. (on the back one anyway.) Then made a start on making some trusses for it.

Good stuff.

I need to make a jig just like that to truss mine and add YJ perches.

What size box section is that you are using for that truss. Looks the perfect size.
