Dont listen to Jordi, he's one of these Northerners thats too far north to be an honest northener, you'll do fine on road tyres, you just have to go left and right across the hill instead of up and down 
Though last time i was there i was in a disco that ended up on its roof......it'll be reet!
But all the same if you do end up taking the SJ and want to meet up with a fellow northern mother scuker just for shits and giggles let me know, sure i can take a trip up whitby way!
