I'm quite lucky we have a hydraulic hose place on the doorstep so hoping they will be cheap. 70 for a set is a bit steep however those llama ones are reasonable so cheers for the link!
I'm going to strip my brake lines/diffs Thursday and hopefully have it back on the sammy ones Friday!

Llama 4x4 lines are spot on.
There are different brake lines on different models.

I could have ordered some from LLama by now! anyway a local parts place let me search their 'box of hoses'. I now have 2 lines about 50mm longer than standard and copper made up to re fit them.
Im about half way through moving the spring perches on a set of axles so hopefully by this weekend it will be working again!
One question, from the rear proportioning valve does the top fitting go to the passenger side brake drum? I think it does but after I removed them I second guessed myself now I have no idea.

If I'm not sick of this bastard anus.
Put sammy rear axle in and bolted up...propshaft won't mate up to the sammy diff. From the info above it looks like I have a pair of 1990 onwards axles. Can I swap the flange off my diff onto the sammy one or do I need to swap the whole diff?

Swap flanges but remember to do the bearing pre loads etc.....
Or swap diffs but remember samurai are 3.7:1 and SJ are 3.9:1 so they both need swapping.

Not be doing preloads haha I was thinking more of a windy gun off then back on. May do the diff if there is less chance of making a mess of it

Large flange diffs. Small flange props.
Turn the prop 45 degrees and re drill the holes.
Ive done it before and didnt have an issue.

That's what I'm going to do now, I'm making a template tomorrow at work as i wasn't confident just trying to mark the flange face with a ruler.
Just need to get the disks off the sammy front axle now. You don't have to remove any of the hub parts to get them off do you? Carriers are off but will they hell come off. They do look like they've spent some time with the titanic mind.

I used the prop flange as a guide. Use a drill bit the same size as
The hole on the prop. Spot through with that for centre then drill up in stages so the drill doesnt wander off. The prop has a spigot in the centre when it locates in the diff centrally.
