Got them on my diffs but hexangon plugs on the Gearbox. Found that alittle time digging all the dirt out of the 1/2" square holes and warming the surounding area up with a blow tourch works wonders undid a treat the last time I changed the oild in them.

As for the gearbox if memory serves the plug is the filler but the bolt just to the right of it is the oil level

I guess it's to make sure you don't accidentally drain the gearbox oil onto your face while trying to top it up ;)

Its quite a tight squeeze between the trany box and the gearbox.
First time i did it i used those stupid little bottles of gear oil from halfords they where a bugger to put the oil in with. When I changed the oil this time i used a oil syringe with a piece of rubber tube attached, routed the pipe up into the anus didn't then have to keep crawling under with another shot of oil.

I've just put a pipe on the end of the halfords bottle ;)

When you've squidged them enough times you can push quite a big up the pipe...
You can't have it that long though so you do still have to crawl around underneath

i still havent drained it, i went underneath and seen grease nipples on the driveshafts and filled them with grease, forgetting about the gearbox.
