i'll be glad to see her on them too, i don't think losing an extra leaf will do any harm but hopefully will give a bit more flex, going back to spua is causing some headaches though, the steering bars are close to binding at the moment, (axle on stock springs but moved forward an inch, i'd like to keep the extra inch) when i go ruf the bars will definitly bind, i'm wondering if i went to a half high steer instead of full and kept the lower drag link??? :er:
i should get a 2 to 3" lift with the spring combo. would that be enough for the half high steer?

would like to progress a bit quicker but the biggest factor against me is time and the lack of it.

Nice job on the missing links! The ruf will prob move the axle another 1.5" forward so you might have issues with binding, half hi-steer might work? I'm sure you'll be able to work something out once its all fitted up.

would look better if they weren't rusty!
will definitly have an issue then, it's only a few mm from binding on full lock now
i might make another drag link, with a tre on the steering bar and a plate to take it on to the back of the drag link :brows:

Well bugger me I didn't sell her. So we're back to finish her. Got co axle to go up front. The missing links are in work for blast and paint. Got the tube head light surrounds bent and notched, got the material for the rear bump stops front bump stops, front shock towers and a few other bits cut and ready to be put on. Need to move the rear shock mounts onto the sprin plates at the rear so that I can reuse the original upper rear mounts. A fair bit of welding and lots of tidying up of wiring etc.

Good stuff.

Start fitting those bits and the bug will be back and you will suddenly be miles further on.

You'd only regret selling it.

Once you get back into the project the enthusiasm will return.
