Re: Tramps Truck,
Thanks, it ran much better today, it wasn't as under powered, I think I'll check the valve clearances too and make sure they are all in spec, I would advance it some more, but I'm getting a little bit of pinking on hard acceleration,ScottieJ wrote:Bet you are loving having this back on the road!
YOu should also know by now that suzuki just use up whatever stock they have lying around I'm sure it'll run better with the correct timing, might even get away with 11-12*
Thanks! I think so too, it's great that I can zip the side windows off, like a big bikini top! & it's easier than taking the whole roof off,dan_2k_uk wrote: Roof looks awesome Luke
Today on my way home from work I attacked some more local (to my work) byways, and had a pretty good time, I do enjoy 'exploring'

Re: Tramps Truck,
I had a job to do today, There were some stones I needed to collect for my garden, so of course, a perfect excuse to break the zook out,
Whilst unloading I noticed a bit of oil under the zook, it looks like I've developed an oil leak round the back of the head, I did the tappers last week so I've probably not fitted the gasket right, I'll have to whip it off and have a look,

I think the cause was my o ring
You can see how it's pushed out at the mating face, grrrr I've only just ordered a replacement for this one!
