Afternoon and cheers, been out for a run today, crap weather.

i swapped the pot on the carb and the needle,(bfm > bdl) seems to be a lot happier and goes a bit better, happy with it.

strange thing with the speedo, it seems to be reading half of what it should, sat nav said 50 and the speedo was saying around 25, any one got any ideas why this could be happening ?

above the 50 mph mark I'm getting a bit of a vibration, i checked the wheels, and i never had them balanced, I'm hoping its this as every thing else is new, so ill get them done and see if its still there.

but yea, I'm going to require smaller seats, i only did 30 mile or so and it hurt, and possibly a smaller steering wheel, id like to keep it original but it feels more awkward than any thing, would probably need it if i didn't have the power steering but as its so easy, i think a smaller wheel would suit me better.

Cheers

Just a note - don't put a led bulb in the high beam indicator In the cluster - it seemed like a good idea at the time but it's too blinding in the dark so it shall be going back to a normal bulb. Lol
Cheers

So good to see this beaut out on the road after all your hard work, always going to be a few teething issues on fresh builds of old vehicles.

I know that feeling, some of my gauges are far too bright and reflect off the windscreen so I've dissconected the lighting circuit on the ones that cause glare.

I'll get the issues ironed out, but over all I'm very happy with it. Just as much fun to drive as I thought it would be.
Cheers

I have a spare Mountney 13" steering wheel somewhere if you are interested.
If it ticks over...leave it
