Thats not intended as a dig at anyone whose is off road only.

Just those that have all the good intentions buy a one and can't be arsed or didn't realise how much work may be required just to make it off road only, never mind getting it road worthy.

Theres a lot of people on here put lots of time and lots of money into their Zuks and every now and again people join up "just bought this and im gonna do this, this, that etc......" Then after 5 posts they are gone and its on ebay half hacked up as a "unfinished project".

Out of curiosity did any insurance firms even give you a quote for yours Tom? Or was it "computer says no"?

nowadays im thinking the way to go is learn to drive when you are 23, then you have reasonably expensive insurance for the first 2 years... then when you get out of the provisional 2 year period, go straight to specialist car insurance!

I insured my KJA with 2gether, was only £139 i think. The blokes words "because your a young driver" at 27 with 8/9 years no claims.

I couldn't believe he said it, i was still chomping at the bit to pay incase it went up.

Yeah.

In standard form whats the difference. It has a sport badge. I think my Samurai was a sport originally. The stickers may have been aftermarket modifications though by a previous owner.

The more stickers the faster it goes! Thought that was a proven fact.

Same goes for body filler and plastic trim, the more you have the faster it goes! Ask anyone driving their Mams Honda Civic!
