Does anyone know how to get close so it runs is there a way to doing it?

The service interval is 6000 miles for the points and I would recommend fitting a new condensor at the same time.
You can static time it, which should get it running, but then need a strobe to make better job of it.
I'm also a bit worried as you seem to have no ballast resistor on the coil and running it permanently on 12v will overheat it and damage the internals (IE is it damaged from 2 years back?)
Assuming it has the standard 410 coil, which I think it has by the bracket the resistor should be on.

yeah take your number 1 spark plug out... hold your thumb over the s plug hole and then turn the engine over BY HAND with a spanner/socket wrench on the crankshaft pulley (clockwise)

when the piston is on its compression stroke you will feel it trying to push air out of the spark plug hole past your thumb
when the piston is at top dead center on this stroke, the dizzy should be at 10* before the no1 HT lead terminal in the dizzy cap

use a bit of wooden dowel and poke it into the cylinder until it touches the piston
The turn the engine over by hand until the dowel rises as far up as it goes... the engine is now roughly at top dead center on #1

now put the dizzy on with the rotor pointing at where the #1 HT lead terminal in the dizzy cap is...
this should ensure that the correct timing is within the adjustment range given by the distributor

just remember that when you install the dizzy, the shape of the ring gear will turn the rotor arm more clockwise as it goes in

okay because iv done all that its just the dizzy its self needs turning to enure the spark happens just before as people say and when i turn its seems so precise i cant get it bang on so the engine wont go

it shouldnt really be THAT precise... I've swapped a distributor at midnight at the side of the road with a phone torch and a cheap adjustable spanner before!

the adjustment bolt that holds the dizzy in, if you only want to adjust it by the tiniest amount, leave the bolt in and half done up, it will stop the dizzy moving around so easily
