It was just based on the theory of SWBs and LWBs being virtually the same from the bulkhead forwards. Do the 2.0, 2.5 and 2.7 share the same basic block design then?

You missed the part where I said I'd want to run it on four bike carbs or (preferably for me) get a manifold like this: http://www.webcon.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=15197 and a pair of Weber twin 40 DCOE carburettors.

I think these theoretical/un-started protects we're all coming up with need code names.

it would be dead easy to make a simple manifold for bike carbs.... couple a bits of plate and some tubes...

i was thinking about bike carbs apart from its not as manageable as injection with charging applications

I would probably try to make a manifold where the tubes to the carbs were sleeved inside larger tubes, then you can make it into a water jacket and have it heated... although icing should be minimised anyway with the straight path the air takes into the engine... might as well do a proper job though

the thermostat housing is at the back of my engine... used a right angled suzuki alto stat housing with silicone pipe to the radiator

Put a brand new petrol tank in the back. My fuse board under the passenger dash is getting put into an ip 67 rated box and having a partial waterproff rewire.
