There's no bad noises but.........I think I'm going to swap over to some standard rubber bushes instead of the poly ones for the engine and transmission mounts, they are a little bit too hard I think and It makes it quite noisy inside
Could really do with a lengthened rear prop looking at it as well but Trotter is knocking me up a spacer as a temporary solution I need to head over to see my old boss and borrow his lathe eventually.
It's hard to tell if the carb has given the engine a bit more power to be honest as the gearing has been raised from 4.1 in the diffs to 3.73 since I last had it on the road. the 4.1 SJ410 diffs don't fit the samurai axles it has fitted now. It does pull quite well and feels like it has plenty of torque. I might source some 3.9s from an sj413 to go in as the gearing feels a little bit too high at the moment on road.
