Going to absolutely fly! Ive driven a GV2000 and they go well! You planning on getting the Immobilizer removed from the ECU? if not your probably going to need matching key, transponder, and ECU. Will be a nice swap though.

Yeah it does shift in the GV so it's going to be a ripper in the SJ, just been reading up in a thread on auszookers and apparently a guy lit up the tyres pulling away in 4th :hahaha: but ill be running taller gearing than him. I'm planning on trying to keep the immobiliser as it will be good to keep the SJ a bit more secure after all the money I have spent on it over the years  I've got to swap over to a manual ECU though so will need to either get a complete set, but that won't be a problem.

My main issue I need to over come is going to be sump clearance I think, however I'm still running the vit sump on the 1.6 and my engine sits higher than normal so I might be ok :er:

Thought that was going to be standard?

Well standard minus a bit more power  it's going to be a daily drive so a more modern economical engine will help.

Makes sense. So you've got plenty to be cracking on with.

Got two days off to have a tinker and get ready for the show now.

Tonight I took my alternator off to fit another one as i think the voltage regulator is shot so I ordered another regulator for the pricey sum of £12.50

Also have brakes again now, turns out my axle breather was deffo to blame even though its never been an issue before :er: it was hitting the copper line under flex.

So I've routed the line a different way this time

Think I should paint the underside of the bonnet ready for the show

Don't worry about that. Just park it next to mine.
