hahaha
its ok to tow an sj to recover it when it's broken/shit tom
if your brakes weren't sticking and an engine lighter than the moon, it would have been much easier!
Besides, my truck has MOT... sometimes
Every broken bit of it has been broken while road legal!

Right,
You know the grill below the windscreen on the bulk head. Under that is where the heater takes in the air from outside. However it also colects the rain water to stop it going into the system, like it currently is.
The water drains down either end of the plate you can see under the grill. It drains into the engine bay through some plastic pipe that you can see under the bonnet, stick out the bulk head. They will be full of mud.
Youll need hot water, and a thickish (1-2mm dia). Poke the wire round through the grill on top down into the drainage pipe. And up through the pipes coming going into the engine bay.
Keep pouring water into the grill and keep poking around.
Eventually it'll start working its way through.

nice one.
having looked earlier i have seen the mud......
that will contribute to the water seapage..
HOWEVER i have found something more disturbing while looking for these blocked pipes.
corrosion and bubbled paint just below the windscreen below the rubber seal. real bad times. and poking that with wire would be a bad idea. just be where the rest of the water is getting in.
shit
thats quite abit more work.
