Cheers guys. All it needs is the filler and paint now!
Unfortunately we also just found quite a bit of rot hiding on one of the sills....so much for a rust free sj nice and easy fix though

Time to get rid of every bit of rust I can find! My fathers also bought some fibreglass arches for it so we are getting rid of te original arch mounts and using rivnuts in the wings to mount them.
Also got some sill repair panels folded up so it should be a quick job, there's only one small bit of the inner will that needs repairing think it's the most rot free Sj I've worked
Also going to try and get some replica gypsy king stickers made for the drive side and tailgate

My last day in the workshop before my knee operation but I now have a nice 5.5kva generator so can weld again, shame I won't be back in there for at least 5-6 weeks
Got to work on the n/s sill, the inner sill is done, just need to clean up the rest of the surface rust in there and give it a lick of pair before welding on the outer sill.
Also cut out the bad rust on the arch, luckily I have some good wings that are getting the virtual lift treatment on my LWB so can use the sections I'm cutting out for repair panels.
