Almost there, trans fluids left to fill and transmission tunnel cover to fit, then might throw some new brake pads on the back?

Tonight I ran it up to temp to bleed the cooling system and give 'er a tune up now that Its not sucking air through the brake servo vacuum take off on the inlet, the "well known" company who made it used a steel take off pipe in the aluminium inlet manifold and really badly brazed it in or something, don't really see why they didn't just use an aluminium pipe and tig it as they tig'd the SU conversion anyway :er: well I didn't notice it until I pulled it out trying to remove the vacuum pipe so a temporary liquid metal repair has been done  runs loads smoother now :smokin:

Then I made some new arch extensions for the rear out of some of Dans conveyor belt to make it all legal, damn they are wide  doesn't look to bad though.

Are you saying my ass looks big? :hahaha:

Not sure whether or not to widen the front ones as well? There's quite a big difference between the front an rear  if I do I might also make some mud flaps for the front to reduce the mud spray onto my doors and windows  best get the important MOT stuff done first though.

So is that a sammy axle with 15x10 wheels?

It's a samurai axle with a full float conversion and 15x10" wide wheels, the full float makes the axle 3" wider than standard, It's an awesome strength upgrade and makes the back axle easier to work on but I don't really like the extra width when combined with these wheels. I don't really want to fit wheelspacers to the front to even it out otherwise I'll kill wheel bearings at a silly rate so I'm going to get my bronco's fitted on some narrower 16" GV wheels and fit those on this SJ.

Ahh I see I thought you had spacers and the wheels. Not to realise the full float makes it 3inches wider.

What's the offset like on your wheels? If the mounting face is offset positivly could you reverse your back wheel rims to get negative offset, bringing your tyres closer together? although it might not fit over your rear disk conversion?

He has way to much offset for that Luke.

Would probably work well with some of the narrower wheels.
