Re: Any clues?
We do all sorts. Have a reasonable size fleet of curtainsiders too but i don't have much to do with them now thankfully.turbo-tom wrote:Wow! you haul a fair amount of plant then! still though 55tonner is a fair weight and especially standing at 24foot wide thats crazy! well i would love to be a lorry driver but i dont think i would be able to park them up very well
As for parking. Depending on what i have on dictates where i park. One of those practice things, can never get too much off it.
Couple of years ago we too a crane into a field near Arundel down a single track road. The entrance was parrallel to the road going the other direction to we had to reverse down this farm track for a mile wonkier than a dogs leg!
Been some interesting places working here. Like otterburn camp in the middle of winter at -18degrees. Ice road trucker i am not!

Presume it'll have been paul driving it. His wagon puling it. Hes one of the double drive 150tonners. Think the reach stackers are about 65t.turbo-tom wrote:hmm i like this

Re: Any clues?
Curtainsiders don't tend to go much further than the midlands leicester/birmingham.
Steps/flats/low loaders go all over! For a step frame operator we are pretty big. About 55 tractor units now i think.
