In the process of cleaning it up and media blasting, this was followed by a few more small patches :lol:

Tidy looking welds and a good finish there. I love it when there is space and time to to the job properly. I can imagine it is frustrating and satisfying in equal measures. Just the kind of project I love reading about. Cheers.

Thanks guys.

I enjoy the repairs and painting SZ5 but the strip down and paint prep is always a chore :lol: definetly satisfying once it gets to this stage though. Now I've just got the interior and exterior to prep :|

So what's the plan with it? Will the restoration be back to 'stock' or have the mods fitted? I'm a bit of a fan of the 'original' look rather than the lifts and things.

The quality of your welding and tin work are truly a work of art,a skill i always wished i could do,but alas i doubt that i will ever happen,just like driving them these days rather than get on a damp floor and ruin your joints like i did 4 years ago working on motors.

Had a few other little jobs to do on the body but now the bulkhead and interior are painted in raptor
