Cool I figured you probably would be fishplating it anyway but thought I'd bring it up just in case
I think I would be inclined to just build a new extension on the front out of some heavier wall box than standard, be a stronger mounting point for the winch bumper, that's for sure.
Looking forwards to seeing more progress

Looking good Mike.
I wonder if the rear lights are shared with any other cars as it was quite common back then to just use whatever was available and fitted.

Mike Ive got some GV rear lights that might fit in those holes and look good. If you measure them I'll check.

Il take as many pics as I can through the build. I'm tempted to whip the axles out of the red truck and pop them under this to check out some sizes....

Mud monsters round one at Slindon, last Sunday of this month. yeh that's the last planned one.
Il try and leave it complete as long as I can, but il start to need bits soon I think.
