Samurai sump will bolt on but requires the 413 oil pick up fitting and modifying. It also holds less oil if i remember rightly. Its not a major job.

Most of us are running lift springs with extended bump stops to stop them hitting.

Ha ha, i'm a speed demon bud!

Mine will do 60 ok. Haven't had it on a decent road to see how fast it'll go. Not with an accurate speedo anyway.

i better look at getting a high lift cam and a supercharge induction kit then.
or could the 8v handle a turbo? hmmm......

Think Twiss is looking at perfomance upgrades ie turbos etc but he is running. a 16valve.

If your SU is set up for a 1.3 then you need a different spring and needle otherwise you will not see the full power potential. What did you set the timing to?

I didnt use my su carb because it has one of those rubish elbow adapters. So im using my niki at the moment, and I put it on the emmisions machine and set it so its burning eficiantly.

And I set the timing to 10o btdc.

Yea, its a bit anoying as I expected lots from a one six:( managed to get it to 60 today but it didnt feel like it wanted to do much more. I imagine the niki carb should be good enough? And the standard 1.3 exhaust shouldt make that much difference should it?
