I need to do so much to it now needs a lot of work.

Transfer box has an oil leak, (not worried about oil going out its water going in)

Need to fit these 35's see what there like

Beef up the front springs with military wrap

Fit rear winch, fix fuel issue, second battery

I've just got a new job with really long hours so my time is even more limited now.

Also I've got other Suzukis that I need to do bits to before this one, they earn me money this ones just costs me money.

Rather than the trouble of fuel regulators and non standard pumps, couldn't you fit the tank from a FI car?
Mines got the pump in the tank and it seems to self regulate with just a flow to the rail, and a return to the tank.

It's got a fuel injected tank in it, with the correct 16v pump

The fuel pressure reg isn't opening at all. I put a vacuum tester on it and its seized solid

Yeh the pump keeps on pumping, the fuel pressure just builds and builds, the pump eventually can't pump any more, it partially seizes. Leave it half an hour, all I can think is the pressure is lost back through the pump, then it will start and run again, takes about 40 mins to happen.

See what used to happen, is turn the ignition on, pump starts feeding the rail, and the return line into the tank would flow, I know this because when I had pump issues I tested it. Now that doesn't happen, I disconnected the return at the rail, and had it running !! Still nothing came out.

My son lost a whole tank of fuel today. The return line failed while stuck and he kept the engine ticking over, £40 on the floor!

Easy fix, but it does show there is normally a lot of fuel returning to the tank, or at least should be ;)

Not surprised your pump siezes mike trying to force fuel at 60 odd psi!
