:lol: Thanks guys. I think you could call it years of practice repairing too many rust SJs. However the hardest bit is yet to come, welding it around the outer edge of the arch without warping it. wish me luck :lol: Hopefully in a few weeks it'll be body off time to clean/paint the chassis and fully strip, primer and underseal the underside of the body.

Nothing wrong with a bit of panel warp, it's the least of my concerns when welding.

Nice tidy build though Scott, looking forward to seeing some time.

This is some very fine craftsmanship you have going on here! Can i just ask though, on the top of each arch (on the original arch) there is a bit of metal that sticks up and attaches to the side of the tray. Do they do anything/provide any kind of support. As you have just cut yours out, and i haven't dared in case they're structural?
