Bang on!

Almost out of fuel though, lol.

Is all the drive line sorted then? Gearbox? Clutch? Props etc?

Just a "small" job of tidying up the wiring? Is the exhaust connected too? Sounds pretty meaty.

Nice to see you're taking good care of that tyre too.

I've still got the gearbox to take out so as I can see what's wrong with the clutch.

All the drive line is in and sorted though, well I think it's OK. Time will tell.

Handbrake and clutch cable to sort.

Wiring to sort out properly. I might even try to get the Ignis clocks in :D

Exhaust to make. There is no exhaust on yet, just the manifold, hence the "meatiness".

I don't think that it will be too long now. The MoJo is well and truly back.

I bet as soon as it fired the MoJo was in overdrive.

Made all the hard work so far worth it. Now all you need to do is record where and why each wire connects to what and have Darrell do the "Ignis conversion wiring diagram" diagram. Lol.

Yyyyeessssss :doublethumbs: what was the problem stopping it from starting then, I think you should try and fit those clocks as well, would look ace! Presume you would need to use a jimny speed sensor mod on the tcase for it though, presume its not a cable driven speedo?

 scottie's tyre looks very happy in the garage

By the look of it your just taking up valuable space with it.

You only need to get it another 200 miles south.

Can't wait for the next updates on this.

Edit:- updates on the engine conversion, not the damn tyre.

I haven't said anything on here because I had nothing that would help, but that look awesome. Nice one on all that work and don't worry that wiring looks like mine

The problem with it starting. Mmmmm, bottom line I'm a :tosser:

I traced the trigger wire to an connecting block...........that wasn't connected!! :argh:

Then found a very similar looking connector about 12" away. Clicked them together to hear a very satisfying relay clicking sound. The first turn of the key and it fired up and ran like I'd been to work in it today. AWESOME!

The plan is to get it on the road now, with the minimum of work, so the clocks may have to wait, but you're right, they would look cool.

Yes the speedo does seem to be electric, so what's this Jimny speedo mod on the transfer case? There must be a sender for it on the Ignis. What and where should I look, on the gearbox?

Oh yeah, a mate at work has THREE 33"" tyres for sale. I'm sure he said they were Buckshot Maxxi's, but who would want three?
Do I know anyone with one kicking about? :er:

Only joking re the tyres Scott, don't panic.

Congrats dude. Bet you are well chuffed. Cant wait to see what the performance is like.

Hope you can find an exhaust setup that keeps some of that engine noise too :D

Yep, well chuffed is an understatement.

I've got a nice big motorbike "can" ready to couple up, should be sweet. I will knock something up with just that for starters. Possibly add something else if too loud.
It wasn't that bad with no silencer, so one should do. ;)
