Hi guys

I bought my first sj in January 2014 and haven't touched it since, it's an sj410q with only minor spots of surface rust to sort out!

I don't have many plans for it as I don't want it to completely lose it's originality...

My first new part arrived yesterday, the new bumper

I'm happy with how it looks, I'm going to replace the lights for some nice LEDs and move the number plate soon

Thanks mate! I'm happy with how it looks, I'm just aiming for a subtle looking sj with good performance 8-)

Hopefully be out in April! Exited to see how it performs

Yeh it will be fine.

If I started again with a pretty much standard ish car like yours. First thing I'd do would be lockers. Doesn't matter what lift you have, articulation ect. Drive to each wheel is far more important.

Bash a pair of lockrite a in it, look at the Jimny world now there all buying them.

Mike :)

What would it be like on the road? Wouldn't lockers ruin the turning? I haven't really got the budget to fork out for arbs!!

They lock the halfshafts in your axle to the wheels when locked, or allow them to freewheel when unlocked.

I have drive flanges at the moment, which I want to change for freewheeling hubs.
