longlevity ????

Hi,
My 413j has done 91 thousand miles always change the filter /oil about every 3 thousand miles
no smoke uses little oil ....what mileage do these engines generally last to before trouble looms ?

My 1.3 engine was on about 120000 when I swapped it for the 1.6 and it was still running sweet before I took it out.

Okay thanks for the info, thats a really nice looking 413 anus.....
I guess its the treatment the engine gets in its life....i never let it slog in a gear..not too happy about the wife driving it though since her Escort mk2 is off the road..

Mines on 115k now.
Been a geeat little engine. Service regularly. Drive daily
Ragged occasionally to clear its throat.
A good blast evey so often getting the revs up helps alot on older cars.

On the odd occasion i have seen 80 mph on the clock in 5th gear..but it felt very unstable
65 mph its comfortable though.....

Yea 55 is comfortable for me.
Having seen 90 once was enough for me
