hi all hope you are all keeping well, just had new clutch put in my Suzuki grand vitara 2001 T/D, and they broke my crank sensor, replaced it and could not get it started got it running now I am getting a diesel knock, spoke to a fitter, who said the cam sensor should now be changed ? not sure if this is right, but looking back I did have the cam belt changed so may be it`s running off. Anybody any ideas about this, the fitter did put the computer on it and said that the timing was a bit out hence the changing cam and crank sensor`s ?, And would this have to be reset via ECU ?
regards to all trick = Richard

Re: diesel knock
Surely if it went into to have just the clutch renewed and it was running fine but after they broke they broke the sensor then they must sort the the problem out for you free of charge. You should not have to worry about it,they caused the problem not you,so technically they should rectify it.
Of course if they cannot rectify the problem themselves yjru should get a Suzuki dealer to sort the problem out and they pick up the bill.
