tyre size

hi i have just bought a suzuki blitz and was wondering what are the best size tyres i can fit, for off roading and not ruining the gearing thank you in advance michael

That will depend on what engine you have and what the current gearing is.

Run on 215s and 235s on my SJs with standard gearing and runs fine. Had 31s on my Samurai on standard gearing and they were too big, killed it pulling away, no top end.

Found 31s ideal with a rock lobster, but a 410 tbox is fine too.

On mine I found that there was less clearance to the footwells than on a stock SJ, personally I wouldn't want to go above 215/80s on stock gearing. If you want to go bigger then the alternative is to gear down and move the axle forward.
