standard or su carb needed!!!!

my friend has a sammi and is in desprit need of a new carb.
when he goes round corners the engine stalls and on tick over
the engine is reving realy low. he has cleaned everything and cheacked for
leaks. we are no master machanic's so any help would be greatly appriciated.

i think i have one but the chokes a bit fooked! perhaps if his has a good choke you could swap it over?

think he will try anything mate!! at the mo his has a auto choke,

hi if you have a look on difflock.com under suzuki they have some exellent info on both standard aisin carbs (how to strip and service) and on conversion to su . su is the way but you will need to fabricate a manifold adaptor or buy one from ebay as the stndard carb is a down draft and an su is side draft. I have had bothon my sammy and the su is best but i have just sourced a newer standard carb to fit whilst i remake my su adapter.!!! good luck. Oh just rememberd if you can find one a charade 1300 carb does fit with a little tweeking.
