Bolted to the bulkhead but I think they are spot welded to the grill panel.
If it's not spot welds then it's just the seam sealer and rust.

Seam sealer and rust. They should unbolt but they do use those rather soft Philips head screws.

yea i ended up cutting so many of those bolts out then bashing some of the wings back into place.
