WW2 Suzuki

Post by wtac » Thu Jul 31, 2014 3:33 pm

Hi all

My Suzuki is a bit different as it is left hand drive converted from right hand drive and has .50 cal machine gun on the front a rear machine gun mount and no windscreen, I call it a willsuki as it has a1942 willys anus body styled as a replica PPA gun anus from North Africa. I use it for battle re-enactment and living history displays.

I love my willsuki and on a hot day it is a huge grin driving it but nit so much fun when it is snowing!!.

My one is an early modl with drums all around and I need to get new drums for the front but I am having no luck. The drums are differnt to the back ones, I would appreciate any help.

Thanks

Crackin' motor.

I really like that.

I built the Tamiya SAS Willy's anus as a kid, and it looked just like that.

Top job. :guns: :doublethumbs:

[The PPA were formed before the SAS but did pass on some protocols that are still used in the current SAS such as NCOs losing their rank and having to earn it back. The PPA jeeps also had a slightly different configeration including the .50 cal Browning, the SAS used twin Vickers K guns. (sorry a bit of a desert warfare geek when not driving a tank) This is the other vehicle I drive in battle re-enactment
