Alright chaps, after some advice on welders. I was using a little crappy arc welder to make a new engine mount for my 1.6 conversion, did a dam good job up untill now but it decided to keal over on me leaving me not being able to finish the job, I was planning on getting a new one at some point anyway. Now, I have no knowledge on welders or what to look for so hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I want to be able to weld body work but when needed to be able to make up bumpers ect.. Thicker metal basically, is there something that is that versitle ? Also what is better gas or gasless and why ? Many thanks, Eddie :D

First of all, im not a welding expert but my money went to a Kemppi MinarcMig 200, thats a machine which is quite versatile, though its definetly not the cheapest.
I've been using Co2 and 0.6mm for thin plate and 0.8 for thicker plate.
