Got to change the offside rear wheel cylinder on my sj413 samuri......is there any way to stop brake fluid being lost in any great amount its a cylinder with 2 pipes going to it..... on my old escort i would put a plastic cover over the master cylinder and secure with a rubber band.....would this be applicable on the anus ????...a bit difficult to clamp up both the rubber brake hoses going to the cylinder.....
any thought welcome

Two pipes? There's usually a single flexi from the chassis rail to the axle that then joins to a hard line running into one drum then across to the other, you aren't looking at the handbrake cables are you??

I just clamp the flexi to minimise loss, the system will need bleeding still though.

Think i might have to put more water with the whisky ......as there would not be a reason for 2 flexy pipes there.....have a proper brake pipe sqeezer in garage.....might get the wife to do the job as she has been answering me back too much of late of late.

Some 413s did have twin flexis.

The replacement axle I bought for my kja had two flexis
And a bleed nipple on each cylinder. I removed it
From a e reg jap.

The kja has the flexi coming down on the left side compared
To the normal sj style of being on the right.

This sounds your layout, one flexi , two pipes on first cylinder.
