Hi... I have just been doing a service on my new SJ410. I have suspected that she is running lean. I took out the plugs and they are nearly white... It has a non standard air filter, so I need to get hold of a stock air box... but in the meantime... can anyone advise me or are there any posts on here on how to adjust the mixture on the stock carb? I have searched but can't find anything.
Cheers Lee
Also if anyone has an air box they want to sell? That would be good!

Hi... I think I have worked it out... little brass dome thing with a collar... Not sure which way is rich... but it definitely runs better, turned anti clockwise! Check the plugs later after a run.
If anyone has any advice, it would still be appreciated.

Colour tune is all I can say.... wicked little tool for setting your mixture... whereabouts are you anyway?
Quite a few people down south will have 410 airboxes

Thanks for that... yes, I will get a colour tune kit. As soon as I hit 20 posts, I will be in the wanted section!

No... Norfolk. Scottie said he might have one... if he hasn't I will get back to you... I don't mind paying for postage.
