After selling my sj im after another suzuki this time im going for a jimny any tips for looking out for one? Rust rot any "special" places to look?

If your looking at jimnys be careful.

The few I've broken up have had badly rotten chassis, around the front and rear cross members.

And body's, especially in hard tops check rear quarters.

There's some bad ones out there.

The worst spots are usually the boot floor where the jack sits and around the front headlights. Also make sure you drive it at 40-50mph to check for the death wobble which is usually kingpins or wheel bearings.

If you still have it when the landy is done maybe we could chop it up and do a virtual lift and get some 31s on it ;)

Wouldn't have to do that with an SJ.
