need help with my new toy not starting stood for 2 years

hi ive just bought my first 410 its got su carb fitted and snorkel .... its been standing for 2 years ..
so I changed petrol cleaned carb put another coil on spark is their but wont fire up properly has gas going through and converted to su carb and has been to most of off road events in somerset but chap bust his foot up and cant drive it ........ any tips or suggestions would help im basic mechanic exspearance can change engins ect but this one has me stumped....
the carb has no other screws to do tic over or out. just one at the bottom front left witch is controlling the internal parts bin by the float system ......don't know wat model the carb is as no numbers or any thing ..........cheers royster

SU on a 410 is probably the HIF38, does it look like the attached picture? Have you got a good spark on all 4 plugs too? Best to test each plug in its own lead to check HT leads are good too.

Compression test it, head gasket could have completely gone.

Have you changed the oil and water to check for signs of contamination?

New spark plugs and leads may improve it too.

Is it starting at all?
