hi, my last distributor cap was terrible and let water in, i've bought a new one and stuck it on there, any ideas on what the best way to waterproof it is? did buy a rubber cover for cap and coil but didnt fit, seen some people on youtube replace the rubber seal with sealent is that a good idea? just looking for a solution as the misty mornings and rainy times are son upon us and even if i want to go through a puddle i cant have it playing up again its a right pain in the backside...

all help appreciated, thanks

surgical glove with a hole in each finger for each HT lead and coil lead, held in place with electrical tape. through some vaseline in the glove for extra piece of mind.
