So since I'm a regular reader on here I thought I might as well put my build thread here for anyone interested in having a look. Unfortunately most of the SJ's down this end of the world ended up rusting away in farmers sheds, mine spent a good portion of the last few years upside down in some blackberry

Seen your thread on ore a while back nice bargin of a truck you got. A lot less rust then mine had? Well to be honest I didn't have much rust just thin air where steel once was.
Have you had much issues trying to get parts at a decent price? I have unfortunately

Yeah its not too bad, as I mentioned it spent a good few tears buried in BlackBerry, the underside that would usually be the worst is only surface, I think as it was facing the sun to dry it out, the roof is the worst.
Parts havnt been too bad so far, I've found buying more than I need and selling the rest results in near free parts which has been good

Selling parts let me know if you ever have anything for sale. What part of nz are you in I am after a few parts but struggling to find them at a decent cost. Still undecided on a engine also. I have the standard 410 f10a 1 ltr but not sure weather to use it or get something better and run bigger tyres

Manawatu so rather far... Not much to my project yet. Fully rebuilt diffs. A nice shiny chassis and some body work full of holes.

there is a guy locally here that used to sell part's, but I think he split up with his missus. if you two let me know what parts you are after, I can go there and enquire about all the parts at the same time, but I'm not sure she is interested in selling all the parts she left behind, but you never know
