Is it necessary to have one for a rocklobster or can i get away with the standard mounts?

Personally I think you'll be ok with genuine standard nouns as long as they are good.

If you add uprated mounts like the bolt through type I would recomend some kind of brace/guard/spine that ties both mounts together. And if you drive hard it might be a good idea to strengthen the chassis mounts.
