I've been looking to see if anyone knows of an aftermarket engine management system which supports dynamic cylinder deactivation.
I heard that Rhinoman might be a good person to talk to about this?

I don't know of one. For what purpose?

I'm putting an RB26DETT into a '71 Datsun 240z to use as a daily driver.
The engine is currently 400hp and pretty thirsty. I was interested in the idea of being able use dynamic cylinder cut functionality for longer journeys when sitting on the motorway but so far haven't come across anything. Scottie mentioned that you were the man to talk to about ECU related stuff so thought I'd ask.
Alternatively do you know of any engine management systems which allow you to dynamically toggle between maps whilst driving?

People have modified ECUs to do that but if you are cruising then you should be in closed loop so the ECU will hold the fuelling at 14.7:1.
