Needing help and advice on my SJ410

I have a Santana SJ410 which I'm thinking of selling. It was previously my dads and is in mint condition, refurbished and he basically pimped his ride, not one bit of rust on it or under it!! He owned it for 27 years and has been offered blank cheques by numerous people. It would cost me too much money to keep it in the condition which he was able to keep it in and its too beautiful to be kept in a garage!! I wouldn't know where to start with really finding out what its true value is given how good a condition its in and I haven't yet seen one in the same condition as dads. What in reason would even be a blank cheque for this age of vehicle that to be honest is like brand spanking new? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Ha. You picked up on our auto correction of the J word before I could fix it for you.

Some photos would help. I previously owned a very nice condition SJ410 which we picked up for a fair price as the owners really wanted it to go to a good home. It was nice but had some mileage on it.

We need to know more about it.

Dan

Lol...I will defo have to get some pics up for yas! I've just got it taxed today so once I take it out of the garage I will get a few snaps. Its an 87 with 106,000 miles and one owner before my dad. Unfortunately dad passed away recently and its just too good to let it stay in the garage but it would also break my heart to let it go, so many memories of it with my dad, was always me and him out touring the roads in it....its lethal!!!

Sounds like a very nice SJ, would be cool to see some pictures, original examples can fetch good money nowadays.

Lethal?? An SJ doesn't handle like a modern car but they are far from lethal and should be fun and easy to drive and definitely not lethal

My definition of lethal over here is the dogs balls!!! lol I love driving it, my dad taught me to drive it when I was about 12!! I just love it but I simply can't afford to keep it like my dad could. I seriously haven't came across one yet in this sort of condition, an absolute beaut!! I will look forward to showing you all some fotos!!

I take it you can't load JPEG Images onto this website? I've tried uploading from my phone and PC but it's saying the file is too big :(

You need to reduce the size of the files to under 1mb, they will upload fine then.

Very nice.

In my opinion if it makes you smile when you drive it and reminds you of your dad then keep it and enjoy it when you can find time.

Don't let it go for nothing that's for sure. It looks lovely.
